The Importance of Google Reviews for Home Security
When you buy a new appliance for your home do you oftentimes look up customer feedback for the product? Think about it, it would not be the smartest purchase in your move if you went into a store and said “I’ll take it” and point at the cheapest priced washer or dryer or even the most expensive one for that matter. If you are a smart consumer you most likely go online and Google that specific appliance or service to try and get some reviews on that certain product or service. From there you look at different Google reviews and pricing and come to a conclusion based on the best bang for your buck.
What I find quite humorous is that a lot of security system consumers skip that stage. You would think that investing into a home security system people would do their due diligence and find out some information about a company and the products that they offer, but oftentimes these steps are skipped. How long did you spend looking online for the best possible TV to watch your daily shows on, an hour maybe two? Then don’t you think it would be somewhat beneficial to do the same thing if not for a longer time for the product and service that will be protecting your loved ones and those beloved items which are in your home?
The one thing that I am starting to realize about this industry is that many consumers are starting to buy based off of pressure from sales people. They move into their new home and they get bombarded with all of these flyers and different literature. Promises of “Free alarm installs, plus you get paid $50 or more”, are you kidding me? Do people actually believe that this company is going to install a free system and pay them to have the work done ? A lot of things in this world have changed over the years but the expression “ nothing in this life is for free ” is still true to this day. Customers are just agreeing to terms with these companies because they see a name they have seen before and seeing what they are told is a “a great deal” and most don’t even bother to look up anything on that company. Who knows if they will ever see that salesperson or installer again, but its fine right, just as long as they got that $50 Visa gift card.
So for those of you that currently have an alarm system , or those who are looking for a new alarm system do us both a favor and take the time to see what you’re getting into. Look up the company’s google reviews, search them on Facebook, check out the BBB , and use all the great tools that you have around you in order to find out what type of company and what kind of products they truly are. You would be surprised what you will find on companies with a simple search that takes 10 seconds. I appreciate you reading this, and remember- This is real life , you need a real security company .
