So You Already Have One

“So You Already Have One?”

As a sales professional the most common phrase I hear throughout a work week is “ already have one ”. Hearing those three simple words actually makes me cringe sometimes. The reason why it annoys me so much is because I usually get that response just by mentioning my company’s name. Wait, you don’t want to talk to me because you know what my profession is and you already have security ? That seems a little rude don’t you think? The funny thing is that nine out of ten times I can probably help you out in some way, shape, or form.

Out of habit, every time I go to a store I take a look at their current security system . More often than not it a system that is five years or older and it looks like it has seen some things over the years. The thing that surprises me the most is that a lot of the times the systems that are currently in place are missing protection in some crucial points. I do not know if it is because their original sales person was lackadaisical or if they just did not want to put that much money into the system when they first put it in. My point here is that it is always good to have someone take a second look at your system after a few years .

I believe it is always good to get someone else’s perspective on how they would protect a home or business because there is a decent chance they might find something that someone else did not. Heck, I even go over layouts of clients with my own team members to make sure I crossed my T’s and dotted my I’s. At ATP Alarms , we offer free consultations to come look at your current system to see that you are being properly protected. While we are on site we can also tell you about all of the latest and greatest features that have surfaced in the security industry since you had your system installed.

You think your system is “ Fort Knox ” and there is nothing that you would change about your system? You still should consider giving me a call due to your monitoring services . More often than not, the customers that I run into have phone line monitoring which is not exactly the “Fort Knox”. The funny thing is that more often than not these people are actually being vastly overcharged for their monthly monitoring because they are paying for a name rather than the service that they are receiving.

So the next time someone tells you they work for American Total Protection , take a second to listen to them. That five minute conversation can actually be extremely beneficial. This is real life , you need a real security company . ATP Alarms is American Total Protection .
