Partitioned Alarm Systems

What are “partitioned” alarm systems?

American Total Protection offers “ partitionedalarm systems for residential settings. A partitioned alarm system means that one part of the system can be armed while the other side can be disarmed . A system like this is very beneficial and effective for the below scenarios.

– Any home where firearms are present should consider a partitioned alarm system. This way, we can place a contact on a safe or drawer allowing it be armed at all times—only a master code (which would be different than the code distributed to your children), would disarm the safe or drawer.
– A home where there is a liquor cabinet. Adults can place a contact on the cabinet. We can program the system so that it sounds the alarm or that it simply sends you a text or email through the Total Connect Application.
– Homes with a medicine cabinet. Does your home have a medicine cabinet? One of the last things we want is a child accidentally getting hold of medications. Having a portioned alarm or a contact on the cabinet can alert the necessary people.
– Homes with in-law apartments. By having a partitioned system, the in-laws can arm and disarm their respective system, leaving yours unchanged.
– Homes with pools. Depending on the jurisdiction, homeowners are responsible for what happen on their property, regardless if someone is trespassing. Place a pool gate or shed on separate partition for extra security.

By placing contacts on specific cabinets, gates, or doors, ATP Alarms can make your system more secure and more effective. When your system is configured with our Total Connect option, events can be pushed to your smart device and you know in real time what’s going on and where. We can either place those points on a separate partition or simply notify the customer via Total Connect.

It is our goal to design a system that meets your lifestyle needs and budget. Whether it is to protect your family from intrusion or fire or to protect your little ones from the hazards within your home, call us now for a free security assessment.

This is real life . You need a real security company . We are American Total Protection .
