Renting a Summer Home?
Smart Solutions to Protect your Property

Nothing is worse for a property owner than to find out that he can’t rent his property due to issues in the building. That means a loss of income plus additional spending to fix the property. So, if you own a rental property and want to protect your assets, here are a few solutions you need to have in place.

The smart solutions to protect your property

Smoke Detectors and Fire Alarms:
You need both to sense so that the smoke from a fire can trigger a warning through the fire alarm. If your building doesn’t have a fire suppression system installed, then it’s best if you have a central monitoring system that can detect the alarm and send the relevant authorities. Alternatively, you could invest in a fire alarm that sends a notification to your phone.

Carbon Monoxide Detectors:
These need to be installed for maximum protection. That means having a contractor or security company installing them in the areas that best protect those in the home. If the detector is too high, then it may be too late when the notification goes off.

Fire Extinguishers:
fire extinguisher  is a necessity for any property. But what if there are extinguishers on your property, and you have not done the required testing, inspections, and servicing? What happens if there’s a fire and your fire extinguisher wasn’t maintained properly? (ATP Alarms does fire extinguisher testing and servicing so give us a call quickly).

Water Sensors:
Pipes can break, and your basement could get flooded. If you want to quickly get on top of any water damage in your rental property, then you need smart water detectors installed.

Security Alarm System:
Getting a  smart security alarm  will let you know if someone tries to break into your rental property. You can combine it with a motion-sensitive floodlamp that deters trespassers.
